Si Cara is about love. It’s a place for family, for friends and for remembering where we came from. It’s about appreciating the simple things, the little things done with care and craft. The things we remember most, the days we cherished and the people we loved the most.

We’d yell out to her and she would promptly respond “Si Carino” or “Si Cara” which is Italian means “yes my love”

SPATIAL PLANNING

The ground floor is a welcoming warm and inviting pizza and wine restaurant. A finishing kitchen with pizza oven draws diners focus and creates a moment of theatre within the space. In the basement a speakeasy focused on vinyl and cocktails creates a new experience for diners to discover.

THE PALETTE

The palette is warm and textural with a backdrop of off white plastered walls. Warm timber, terrazzo floor and linen drapery adding texture and depth. Colour is added through burgundy accents and antique brass details.

Large communal tables and a lowered bar encourage a feeling of home and community. The warm natural backdrop punctuated with red accents adds warmth, while simple honest detailing keeps the space feeling authentic.

Nostalgic touches create the ‘secret sauce’ that makes a Si-Cara space feel truly unique. Reminding guests of moments in their childhood. Capturing the feeling of comfort and creating a community that comes back time and again.
